You can find Vishwakarma Steel Wire Products at D-16 in the Industrial Estate of Angore. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by other shops and factories doing all sorts of heavy work. You can always hear the sound of metal clanging or trucks backing up somewhere nearby. Our own shed is filled with coils of wire and the machines we use to process them. It’s a loud place when everything is running, so we usually have to shout a bit to be heard. The floor is concrete and usually has a bit of grease or metal dust on it, which is normal for a steel wire business. We have a small crew of workers who know these machines inside and out. Most of them have been with us for years. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you need someone, you usually have to walk past the machines to the little desk in the corner. Angore is a bit out of the way, but it suits us fine because we need the space. We spend our days loading and unloading materials and making sure the wire is cut and prepped correctly. It’s hard, physical work, especially when the weather gets hot. We just focus on getting the orders out on time and keeping the equipment in good shape. It’s a straightforward business without any frills and no complicated plans. We just work until the day is done and start again the next morning.
