Hero Bricks Field

If you ever head over to Ward No. 14 in Village Bhelwa, you’ll find us working away at Hero Bricks Field. We are located right there in the Hisua area, and it’s a pretty basic operation we've got going on. We take the raw earth from the ground, mold it into shape, and then bake it in the kiln until it’s ready to be used for building something real. Bhelwa is a quiet village, and most of us prefer it that way. Most of the people who work here live just a short walk away, so we are all neighbors who know each other well. The work is definitely tough, especially when the heat hits hard in the middle of the afternoon, but we take our breaks under the shade of the trees when we can. We don’t use any high-tech gadgets or fancy computer software to get things done. It’s just us, the mud, and the fire. Sometimes the bricks don't come out the exact color we expected, but they are still strong and fit for use. We don’t try to sugarcoat the job or make it sound like something it isn't. It’s a dirty job and we go home covered in red dust every single day. People around Hisua know they can come to us if they are starting a new project. We don’t have a big sales team or anything like that.
