We've been at the Mazda Trade Centre in Sanjan for a while now. Most days it's just us handling the different spices that come in and go out to people around here. It gets busy, especially when a big shipment arrives and the whole place smells like cardamom and cloves. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that, just our spot here where we do the work. It's a lot of weighing things out and making sure the bags are tied right so nothing spills. Sometimes the dust from the peppers makes us sneeze, but you get used to it after a few years. People come by and ask what's fresh today, and we just tell them what we've got on the shelves. It isn't anything complicated. We started out small and stayed that way because it works for us. My cousin helps out when he can, and we usually have tea in the afternoons when the sun hits the front door. We know the neighbors at the other shops pretty well too. If you're looking for our place, just look for the sign near the entrance of the trade centre. We try to keep things organized, but on Mondays, it’s always a bit of a mess until we get through the weekend orders. That’s just how it goes when you’re running a small spice business. We keep the doors open as long as there is work to do.
