Essential Spices Overseas

Our place is at 12, Ramdev Industrial Estate, Nard. Working here at Essential Spices Overseas means the air always smells like cumin, pepper, or whatever else we are packing that day. The industrial estate is a busy area with lots of trucks coming and going, so there is always something happening. Our unit isn't huge, but we make the most of the space we have. Boxes are stacked all the way to the ceiling, and we spend a lot of time loading and unloading them. It’s physical work, and by the end of the day, we are usually pretty tired. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. People who want spices just come to the estate and look for number 12. We’ve been in Nard for a bit now, and we like the community here. The other business owners are friendly, and we all help each other out when someone’s truck gets stuck. We focus on getting the spices shipped out to where they need to go. There isn't any big secret to what we do; we just pack the stuff and move it. It’s a straightforward operation. We use simple tools and old-fashioned methods because they work. Every day is different depending on what is being harvested, which keeps things interesting for us.
