Rajakishan Welfare Foundation

Rajakishan Welfare Foundation is situated at Sarkari Plot No. 61. We are behind the Jilla Tijori in Village Chhaya. It’s a bit of a specific spot to find, but once you’re in Chhaya, most people can point you toward the government plots. The office is very simple. We have a roof, some walls, and the basics for working. It’s not meant to be a showpiece. We focus more on what we are doing outside these walls. Being in a village setting like Chhaya means things move a bit slower, which we actually like. It gives us time to really think about the welfare work we are trying to do. We aren't a huge organization with a board of directors in suits. It’s just a few of us who know the area and the people here. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit outside and talk until it comes back on. We don't have a website with flashy photos. Our work is more about being on the ground and seeing what’s needed. It can be a bit dusty around the plot, especially in the dry season. We just sweep it out and keep going. It’s a humble place, but it’s ours. We usually have some local kids playing nearby, and their noise reminds us of why we keep this foundation running in the first place.
