Narmada Tapovan Foundation

At Narmada Tapovan Foundation, we are based at C/2, Diplaxmi Ro House. We are right behind the Somnath Temple in Bilimora, Gandevi. 396321 is the pin code. Being so close to the temple means we hear the bells and the people walking by all the time. It is a nice atmosphere for the kind of work we do. The row house is one of several, so it feels like being part of a little community. We have a small space downstairs where we keep our supplies and some chairs for visitors. It’s not very big. If three or four people come at once, it feels a bit crowded. Bilimora is a good place to be, not too fast and not too slow. We spend a lot of time walking to the temple or the local shops to talk to people. There is no corporate polish here. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that right now. We have a ceiling fan that makes a bit of a clicking noise, but you get used to it after a few minutes. We don’t have a website with lots of photos. We just stay here and do the work that comes our way. It’s honest and it’s right in the middle of where people live. That’s how we like it. The Gandevi area has been our home for a while.
