Mahavir Marble & Granite

You can find us on Bardoli Road over in Kabilpore. Mahavir Marble & Granite has been here for quite some time now. The road is usually full of trucks and cars going back and forth. Our yard is right on the edge of it. We keep a big variety of stones, mostly marble and granite. It’s a family-run thing. My sons help out with the customers and I handle the suppliers. We aren't fancy people. We wear work clothes and we aren't afraid to get our hands dirty. The stone comes in big blocks or slabs and we have to organize it all. It’s like a giant puzzle sometimes. Kabilpore is a good place for a business like this because of the transport links. We don’t have a glossy brochure or a marketing team. If someone needs stone, they come in, they look at the stock, and we make a deal. We’ve built a decent reputation just by being here every day. The dust from the road and the stone gets everywhere, but we’re used to it by now. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the pieces aren't cracked when they go out. It’s honest work. Most of our days are spent out in the yard under the shed. That’s just how we do things here. We don't need much more than that to keep us busy.
