Cafe Klatsch

Our little spot, Cafe Klatsch, is located in the ABB Shopping Complex in Navsari. We are right there at units 11 to 13, just across the street from the Parsee Hospital. It is a quiet part of town usually, though the morning rush can be a bit much with people going to work. We decided to take over these units because the complex seemed like a good place for people to just hang out. It isn't a fancy restaurant with white tablecloths or anything like that. We just have simple furniture and some basic stuff to eat and drink. Sometimes the hospital staff comes over for a quick break and they look pretty tired, so we try to get their stuff out fast. Running a place in Navsari is different from the big cities. People here know each other and they stay for a long time just talking. We don't mind that at all. The floor gets a bit dusty from the wind outside but we sweep it a few times a day. It is just a small business trying to get by. We put out the chairs every morning and pull down the shutters at night. It is hard work sometimes but it feels good to have a place of our own right here near the hospital. We just take it one day at a time and hope the coffee is hot enough for everyone.
