Vicky Fashion Ltd operates out of the TTC Industrial Area in Mahape. Our specific unit is A-412. It’s a large industrial zone, so there are always trucks and tempos moving around outside. The dust from the road sometimes gets inside, but we try to keep the workspace as clean as we can for the clothes. Working in MIDC means we are surrounded by other factories and workshops, so it’s a very practical, hardworking atmosphere. There isn't much in the way of decoration in our office. We have sturdy desks, plenty of shelves, and all the tools we need for the daily grind. The commute to Mahape can be a bit long for some of us, but once we get here, the day goes by pretty fast. We spend hours looking over designs and making sure the stitching is right. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting boxes and moving racks around the floor. We don't have a fancy receptionist or a lobby with plush chairs. Usually, you’ll just find us in the back or at the main table figuring out the next batch of production. The power goes out once in a while, which is just part of life in the industrial area. We just wait for the generator to kick in and get back to it. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. We usually end the day by double-checking the locks and making sure the next day's list is ready for the morning.
