Sonika Creation

Sonika Creation is a small place located in Maria Apartment in Sector 9, Airoli. We are right on the ground floor at unit 001, which makes it easy for people to drop in. It is a quiet residential area, so it doesn't feel like the chaotic business hubs of Mumbai. Here, we focus on making garments and handling creative designs. It is a small team, mostly people from the neighborhood who have a knack for sewing and patterns. The space is often filled with rolls of fabric and threads of every color you can think of. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. Most of our orders come from people who have seen our work or were told about us by a friend. We take pride in just making things that look good and fit well. Sometimes we are working late to finish a batch of orders, especially when there is a festival coming up and everyone wants something new to wear. It is a bit messy with all the scraps on the floor, but that is part of the creative process. We like being in Airoli because it feels more like a small town where everyone knows each other. Usually, we have the radio on and just get through the stitching one piece at a time until the day is done. It is hard work on the eyes, but seeing the finished clothes makes it worth the effort.
