Karsandas Khimji Thakker Company

We've been at E-31 in the APMC Market for a while now. It's busy here in Phase II, especially in the mornings when the trucks start rolling in. My name is on the door, but it's really just a few of us making sure things get where they need to go. If you've ever been to the market, you know it's a bit of a maze. We're right there in the middle of it all. The office isn't much to look at, just some desks and a lot of paperwork piled up on every available surface. It gets pretty loud outside with everyone shouting and the iron carts moving around on the pavement, but we've all grown used to it over the years. Sometimes the heavy rain makes the loading area a bit of a mess, and we have to jump over puddles, but we manage. Karsandas Khimji Thakker Company isn't a big fancy operation with a board of directors. We just show up, do the daily work, and go home. Most days are long and start very early. I usually get here before the sun is fully up just to beat the worst of the traffic on the main road. The stalls around us are mostly run by friends we've known for ages. We handle what comes in and what goes out without making too much of a fuss. It’s a living. We don't even have a website or anything like that, just this physical spot in Phase Ii where we've always been. I guess that's really all there is to say about the place. It's just a shop.
