Our mill is located over at Plot No. A-189/190/819 in the TTC Industrial Area. It’s a big section of the MIDC on Thane Belapur Road, right across from Kopar Khairane village. If you’ve ever been around here, you know how the traffic can get, especially with all the big lorries moving in and out of the industrial zone. Inside the mill, it’s a whole different world. The smell of pepper and ginger is everywhere. We spend the whole day managing the different plots we have here. It’s a lot of space to keep track of, and we’re constantly moving sacks of spices from one corner to the other. Being opposite Khairane village means we see a lot of local life passing by while we’re busy with the grinding machines. We aren't trying to be the most modern place on the block, we just use what works and keep the equipment maintained. The floors are concrete and the walls have seen better days, but that doesn't matter for the work we do. We mostly deal with bulk orders that need to be processed and cleared out quickly to make room for the next shipment. The heat gets pretty intense in the summer months under the metal roofs, so we keep the fans going as much as we can. It’s just the daily grind of an industrial mill, nothing more and nothing less.
