You can find us over at Vashi Plaza in Sector-17. We are on the first floor, unit B-382. It’s a busy building, lots of different offices and people running around all day. We deal with food items mostly. Exporting and importing sounds like a big job, but mostly it’s just a lot of phone calls and checking containers. My desk is always covered in manifests and notes I wrote to myself. Vashi is a good spot for this kind of thing because everything is close by. We spend a lot of time making sure the food is stored right and the dates are correct. It’s not very glamorous work, really. Sometimes the elevators in the plaza are slow, so we just take the stairs. It keeps us moving. We have a small team here at Inherent Food Exim. We’ve worked together for years, so we don't need to say much to get things done. We know the routine. The morning starts with tea and then we dive into the logs. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. We just focus on the food and the shipping. If a client calls, they talk to one of us directly. No automated machines or long wait times. Just a regular office in a busy part of town. Sometimes it gets noisy outside with the traffic, but we just shut the door and keep working on the next batch.
