Our setup is at Plot No. 18 & 21 in the APMC Yard at Turbhe. Being in the APMC yard means our day starts way before the sun even comes up most mornings. If you come by at four in the morning, you’ll see the whole place buzzing with activity. Shree Warana Sahakari is a cooperative, so it’s all about the milk and the producers who send it to us from the farms. We have crates stacked everywhere and the smell of fresh dairy is something you just get used to after a week. The floors are always a bit wet because we are constantly cleaning the equipment and the loading bays to keep things tidy. It’s a very practical environment. There’s no room for fancy decorations when you have trucks waiting to be unloaded and milk that needs to be moved quickly before the heat gets to it. We have a lot of people coming and going—drivers, farmers, and laborers. It can get pretty chaotic, especially on Monday mornings when everyone is trying to get their business done at once. Our office is just a small space tucked into the corner of the plot where we handle the paperwork and the payments. We don't really have a 'corporate culture'; we just have a lot of people working hard to make sure the milk gets to where it needs to go. It’s a noisy, busy, and sometimes messy job, but it’s what we know.
