Creative Eye Associates

We’re based out of Nerul, at Nl5-2/2. It’s a pretty standard residential-cum-commercial area, which we like because it’s not as chaotic as some other parts of Mumbai. Creative Eye Associates is what we call ourselves, and we mostly handle visual stuff. Design, maybe some photography or layouts, it depends on the day. We have a couple of desks, some decent computers, and way too many half-empty tea cups scattered around. It’s a small operation. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If you knock, one of us will just look up from a screen and wave you in. We like working in Nerul because the commute isn't too bad and there’s a good spot for vada pav just down the street. We don’t really do the whole corporate pitch thing. Usually, people find us by word of mouth. They saw something we did for a neighbor or a local shop and liked how it looked. We try to keep things simple. If a design looks too busy, we scrap it and start over. Most of our time is spent staring at colors and fonts until they feel right. It’s a quiet kind of work compared to the shops downstairs. We’ve been at this address for a bit now, and the neighbors have stopped asking what we actually do all day in front of those monitors.
