Mahis Photography

We are located in Sector-3 of Airoli, quite close to the railway station. Being near the station means there are always people walking past our door, especially during the morning and evening rush when the trains come in. The shop itself is not very big, but it’s enough for what we do. We have some lights set up and a few different backgrounds for when people come in to get their pictures taken. A lot of the time, it’s just someone needing a quick photo for an ID card or a form they have to fill out. Other times, we are packing up our gear to go out to an event or a small gathering somewhere in the area. Our cameras and lenses take up most of the shelf space, and there is usually a computer running where we look at the shots we took. We spend a lot of time sitting and checking if the focus is right or if the colors look okay. It’s a lot of waiting for the right moment and then trying to make sure the person is looking the right way. We have some old framed photos on the wall just to show what we have done before. It’s a quiet place most of the afternoon until someone pops in to ask about prices or to pick up their prints. That’s just the daily routine here at Mahis Photography.
