Real Spices

You can find Real Spices at Room No. 96 in Talavi, Ghansoli. We are over in Datta Nagar, right near the Datta Mandir. It is a modest space, just a single room where we manage everything. Because it is small, things can get a bit tight when we have a lot of stock coming in. We focus on spices, trying to keep things as authentic as we can. There is no big corporate office or a floor of workers. It is just a couple of us doing the packing and the weighing. The area around Datta Mandir is usually busy with people coming and going, so there is always a bit of noise from the street. We started Real Spices because we knew a lot about the different types of seasonings and wanted to do something for ourselves. It isn't always easy, and some months are tougher than others. We do not use fancy labels or have a big advertising budget. Most people find us just by being in the neighborhood or hearing about us from a friend. We spend our days mostly surrounded by bags of pepper, turmeric, and other goods. It is a small life, but it is ours. We just try to be fair and do the work that needs to be done every day in Ghansoli. There is no magic to it, just keeping the shop open and the spices fresh for whoever needs them.
