Our place is called Naik Enviro House, and you can find it at A-686 in the T.T.C. Industrial Area in Pawane. Being in an industrial area like Navi Mumbai means we're surrounded by all sorts of factories and warehouses. It’s a busy, gritty kind of place, which suits the work we do here. We focus on environmental engineering, which basically means we spend a lot of time thinking about water and waste. It’s not always the cleanest job, but it’s important. The office itself is functional. We have a lot of technical manuals and drawings lying around. The staff here has been together for a while, so we know each other's habits. We don't have any formal mission statements or anything like that hanging on the walls. We just try to figure out the best way to handle the environmental problems our clients bring to us. Sometimes we’re out in the field at different sites, and other times we’re stuck behind our desks doing calculations. The commute can be long for some of us, but we make it work. It’s a solid group of people here. We take our work seriously, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. We just do the engineering and try to make things run a bit better than they were before we arrived. It's good work.
