Mahendra Trading Co.

Mahendra Trading Co. is located at Plot No. C-7 in Sector 19. We are right in the middle of the APMC Masala Market in Vashi. If you have ever been to the Vashi market, you know it is a place that never really sleeps. There are trucks everywhere and the air is thick with the smell of every spice you can imagine. Our plot is not very big, but we make the most of the space we have. We spend most of the day loading and unloading crates. It is a very physical job and we are usually covered in some kind of spice dust by noon. Mahendra, the owner, is usually around checking the quality of the arrivals. We don't have a polished corporate office. Our "office" is just a small corner with a wooden desk and a couple of plastic chairs. We deal with traders from all over the country, and the phone is always ringing with someone asking about prices. Sometimes the market gets so crowded that it takes an hour just to get a vehicle to our gate. We don't use any marketing tricks or try to sound bigger than we are. We are just traders who know the market and keep our heads down. It is a tough environment but we have been here for years and know exactly how things work in Sector 19.
