Shubham Hardware

We’ve been running Shubham Hardware from Shop No. 1 for quite a while now. Being right here in Plot No. 22 Sec. 23 puts us pretty close to Janta Market in Turbhe, which stays busy most of the time. It’s a small space but we try to keep it packed with all the stuff people need for their homes. You know how it is when a tap starts leaking or you need a specific type of screw that you just can't find anywhere else. That’s mostly what our days look like. I spend a lot of time organizing bins of nails and checking the stock of paints. It gets a bit dusty in here sometimes because of the location near the market, but we don't mind much. People from around Turbhe drop in, sometimes just to ask which tool works for a DIY job they saw online. We just tell them what we know from experience. There isn't any fancy stuff here, just shelves full of metal and plastic parts. Sometimes the rain makes things slow, but usually, there’s someone coming in for a bucket or a new lock. It's a simple life running a hardware shop. My hands are usually a bit dirty from handling the pipes and tools all day. We try to keep the shop open early because that’s when the contractors usually come by before their shift starts. It’s just us doing our thing every day and trying to keep things organized.
