Luminor Fashion is based in Navi Mumbai. We have an office at 201 in the Akshar Blue Chip IT Park. It is located in Turbhe. It is a fairly modern building compared to some of the older places in the city. We chose this spot because it is easy to get to and has all the basic facilities we need. Being in an IT park means the surroundings are a bit more organized. We don't have a shop here, so you won't see any mannequins in the window. It is mostly where we handle the paperwork, the design planning, and the logistics. We have a few computers and a large table for looking at drawings. The air conditioning is usually running because it gets quite stuffy in these glass buildings. We have a small team of people who handle the different parts of the business. We aren't trying to change the world; we are just trying to run a decent fashion company. We often have lunch at the local spots around Turbhe. It is a bit of a commute for those of us living in the main city, but the trains are okay if you avoid the peak hours. We’ve been here for a couple of years now. The office is a bit plain, with white walls and grey carpets, but it serves its purpose. We spend our days on the phone with suppliers or checking on production schedules. It’s just steady, daily work for us.
