Laxmi Aluminium & Glass Work is found at Shop No. 3 in the Gandhar Co-operative Society, Plot No. 196, Sector- 21 of Kamothe. Being part of a residential society means we are right in the middle of where people live, so we see our neighbors every day. Our shop is where we do all the cutting and framing for aluminium and glass projects. It is a small space, so it often feels quite full when we have long sections of metal or large sheets of glass waiting to be worked on. The sound of the saw or the glass cutter is pretty constant during our working hours. We have a lot of samples of different glass types and aluminium finishes tucked into the corners. It is a hands-on job, so our clothes and hands are usually a bit dusty by the end of the shift. Sector 21 in Kamothe is a developing area, and we have been busy helping people with their windows and balcony enclosures. We do not have a corporate headquarters or a marketing team. It is just us in the shop, taking measurements and making sure things fit right. We talk to people about what they need for their homes in a very direct way, without any sales pitches. It is practical work that requires a steady hand and a bit of patience, and that is exactly how we spend our days.
