We are located at Rutika Sadan in Sector 5 of Sandpada, over in Navimumbai. It is mostly a quiet spot where we focus on population studies and all the data that comes with it. Pankaj Goswami handles a lot of the day-to-day operations here from office 103. If you walk into our place, you will see a lot of charts and stacks of papers because that is just the nature of what we do. It is not one of those fancy glass offices you see in the city center. We have a few desks and some old computers that still work just fine for our needs. Most of the people working here have been around for a long time. We know the local tea stall guy and the routine of the neighborhood pretty well. Students and researchers come by quite often to look at our records. Navimumbai has changed a lot since we first set up shop here, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. We don't spend much time on decorating the place because we are usually too busy with the actual work. It can get a bit crowded when everyone is in at the same time, but we manage. We just keep our heads down and get through the reports and the numbers that need organizing. It is a very practical environment where the focus is on the tasks at hand rather than looking impressive to outsiders who might walk in off the street.
