Hariom Masala

Our shop, Hariom Masala, is right in the middle of the chaos at APMC Market-1 in Vashi. We are at D-63 in Mudi Bazar. If you’ve ever been to the Vashi market, you know how loud and crowded it gets early in the morning. That’s when our day starts. We deal with masalas in bulk, so there are always sacks piled high. It’s a dusty, fast-moving environment. We don't have time for fancy talk here. It’s all about the weight, the price, and getting the goods onto the trucks. The office part is just a tiny cabin in the corner with a wooden desk and a lot of ledgers. We’ve been here for years, and we know almost everyone in the bazaar. Some days the traffic in Navi Mumbai makes everything late, and we just have to deal with it. We aren't a big corporation with polished offices. We are just traders who understand spices. The smell of turmeric and chili is everywhere. It gets into your clothes and stays there. We don't really have a marketing team or anything. People find us because we’ve been at D-63 for a long time. It’s honest work, even if it’s exhausting. We just keep our heads down and handle the trade. There is always another truck coming and another order to fill. That is just how the market life is.
