Avinash Garments

Our little shop is located at number 21 near Mariya Chowk in Ghansoli. It's a busy little corner of the world, and there is always something happening outside the door. Avinash Garments isn't a big place, but we make the most of the space we have. We’ve got racks lining the walls and a counter that’s usually covered in fabric samples and measuring tapes. People often stop by just because they are passing through the chowk. We spend a lot of our time chatting with customers while we work on their orders. It’s a bit dusty because of the road outside, but we try to keep things tidy enough. We don't have any fancy marketing plans or anything like that. We just open up in the morning and see what the day brings. Sometimes we have a lot of work piled up and other times it's a bit slower. We do all the cutting and stitching right here in the back of the shop. You can hear the hum of the machines from the street. It’s a simple life, and we’ve been in this spot for a long time now. Most of the other shopkeepers around Mariya Chowk are friends of ours. We share snacks and complain about the weather together. If you're looking for us, just find the shop with the blue door near the main crossing. We’ll probably be inside working on a new batch of shirts or trousers and drinking some strong tea.
