If you look for us, we are in Office No.C-13 at the APMC Masala Market-1. That’s over in Phase 2 of the Vashi-Turbhe area. It’s a loud place, especially in the mornings when the trucks are coming in and everyone is shouting. We deal with all sorts of things that come through the market. Being in Gandhi Company means we spend a lot of time around spices and large bags of goods. The smell of the market stays on your clothes even after you go home. Our office isn't very big, but it has enough room for a desk and some chairs for when people stop by to talk business. It’s mostly just paperwork and phone calls throughout the day. Vashi is a good spot for this kind of thing because everything is right there. We’ve been in this unit for a good bit of time now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to worry about that. We just focus on the orders and making sure the numbers add up. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit there and wait, maybe have some chai from the guy downstairs. It’s the kind of work where you know everyone in the neighboring offices. We say hello, talk about the market prices, and just get through the week. It’s a simple setup we have here and it works for us.
