G G Consultancy is based out of Navi Mumbai. We’ve been working in this area for a good amount of time now. Navi Mumbai is quite different from the main city; it feels a bit more spread out and planned, though it still has its busy pockets. Our office isn’t anything you’d see in a magazine. It’s just a plain room with what we need to get our consulting work done. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad compared to what some people face. We spend our days going through data, answering emails, and sometimes meeting people who need a bit of advice on their projects. There aren't any big logos on the wall or fancy lighting. We just turn on the lights, start the computers, and get to it. We don't have a big team, so everyone knows everyone else’s business. It’s a quiet kind of place most of the time. We like the fact that we can just focus on the work without too many distractions. Sometimes we go out for a quick lunch at one of the local spots nearby. Navi Mumbai has some decent places to eat if you know where to look. We’ve seen the city grow a lot, with new malls and train stations popping up. Through all that, we’ve just kept our heads down and stayed busy with our clients. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living in this part of the world.
