Chetak Aluminium

Our place is tucked into Plot No-440 in the Omkar society at Ghansoli. If you know the area near Hanuman Mandir, you have probably passed us. Chetak Aluminium isn't a massive factory, just a decent-sized shop where we spend our hours cutting and fitting sections. The floor is usually covered in those tiny silver shavings that get stuck in your shoes. We have been in Sector-1 for a bit, and it’s a good spot because people know where to find us. Usually, one of us is busy measuring out frames while someone else is trying to organize the stock so we can actually move around. It gets a bit crowded when a new shipment of extrusions arrives. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s mostly just us answering the phone and writing down measurements on scraps of paper or on the wall sometimes. The light in the shop isn't the best, but we know the tools by heart. Sometimes we take a break and walk over to the temple area to clear our heads. It is just a regular local business. We deal with windows, doors, and whatever else people need made out of aluminium. There’s no corporate talk here, just the sound of the saw and the smell of metal. We try to finish things on time so the piles of work don’t get too high. It’s a busy life but it keeps us going every day.
