Bikaner House

Our place is over in Vashi, specifically in Sector 1. It’s a B Type building, and we use Room 2:1 on the B10 block. If you’ve spent any time in Navi Mumbai, you know how these sectors are laid out. It’s a bit of an older setup, but it works for what we need. The room isn't huge, so things can get a bit crowded when everyone is in at the same time. We usually have the fans running full blast because the air gets still in these quarters. Vashi is always moving, and being in Sector 1 means we are close to some of the older markets and the station isn't too far of a trek if you don't mind walking. There’s a certain way the light hits the corridor in the afternoon that makes it feel very much like a typical government-built area. We don't have a big fancy sign outside, just the room number and the name so people can find us. It’s a practical spot. Sometimes the neighbors are loud, or you hear the sounds of cooking from the nearby rooms, but that is just the reality of working in this kind of residential-commercial mix. We’ve grown used to the quirks of the building, like the way the door sticks a little when it's humid outside. We just stay busy with the day-to-day things and try to keep things organized in our small corner of B10. It is a simple life here.
