Bhagawti Masala Mil

The area around Shil Mahape Road is mostly industrial, and that’s where you’ll find Bhagawti Masala Mil at Plot No 45-A. It’s a pretty functional place, built more for work than for looks. The sound of the grinding machines is the main thing you notice when you walk in; it’s a constant low hum that fills the room. We spend our days managing the flow of raw materials coming in and the finished powders going out. The dust from the masala is everywhere, so we all wear scarves or masks while we work. It’s a tough environment, especially when the sun is hitting the metal roof in the middle of the day. We don't have a reception area or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll likely find us on the floor checking the texture of the grinds or moving sacks onto the pallets. The road outside is always busy with heavy trucks, which makes it a bit loud and dusty all year round. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for years, and we all just know our roles. There isn't much talk during the heavy work hours, just the routine of keeping the mill running. We take our breaks in a small shaded area outside when the weather allows it. It’s just a straightforward operation where we focus on getting the work done.
