Advik Impex

Advik Impex is located in Satra Plaza on the first floor, Block No-133. We are right on Palm Beach Road in Vashi, which is a pretty nice area if you can ignore the traffic on the main road. Being in Sector-19-D puts us right in the middle of everything in Navi Mumbai. We do import and export work, which mostly means a lot of paperwork and even more phone calls to agents and shipping lines. The office is usually a bit of a mess with customs documents and samples lying around on the tables. It’s a fast-paced environment because things are always moving at the port, and we have to keep up. We spend a lot of time tracking shipments on the computer and worrying about delays. It’s not all exciting stuff like you see in movies; it’s mostly just checking numbers and making sure the codes are right. Vashi is a good place to be for this kind of work though. We usually grab lunch at one of the stalls nearby and then get back to the grind. The team here is small, just a few of us who know the ropes. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. We just focus on getting the goods from point A to point B without too many hiccups. It’s a lot of work but it keeps us busy. We are usually here until the late evening when the port reports come in.
