Yashwant General Store

You can find Yashwant General Store over in Panchavati. We are in Shop No.04 of the Shrimant Co-Op Housing Society. Our shop is on the Nandur Jatra Hotel Road, and the BSNL Office is just a short walk away. This part of Nashik stays pretty active. We started this store to serve the families living in the society and the people passing through on their way to the hotel. It’s a basic general store. We sell things like notebooks, biscuits, and daily groceries. The space isn't huge, so we have to be careful about how much we order at once. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the front door, so we put out a bucket and keep going. We aren't some big supermarket chain. We are just local people running a shop. We spend most of our day talking to the regulars about the weather or local news. It’s a quiet kind of work most of the time. We make sure the shutters are up early because the BSNL workers often need something before they start their shift. We keep our accounts in a simple ledger book. It works for us. Panchavati is a nice place to be, and being part of this housing society makes us feel like we belong here. We just keep things moving, one day at a time, making sure we have what people need when they stop by.
