Ya Garib Nawaz General Store

Our shop is located on Imam Shahi Road in Nashik, right near Sarda Circle. We are easy to find if you are near the Jahangir Masjid Kabrastan. Ya Garib Nawaz General Store is just a small, local place where we sell things people need for their homes. We carry all the basic groceries like lentils, spices, and rice, along with some general items like soaps and cleaners. It is a very busy part of town, so there is always some noise from the street outside. We have been here for a good while, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The shop is packed with goods, so it can feel a little tight when there are more than two or three people inside. We do all the work ourselves, from opening the shutters in the morning to locking up at night. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals. We just want to make sure we have what our neighbors are looking for when they walk in. A lot of the people who shop here have been our customers since we first opened. We talk to them about their families while we weigh out their sugar or flour. It’s a simple way to make a living, but it keeps us busy and we like being part of the community here. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to get deliveries on time, but we just manage as best we can. It's just a regular life.
