Wagheshwari Kirana & General Store

Wagheshwari Kirana & General Store is a small family-run spot located at Plot No 10 on Eklera Road. We are tucked away in Wagheshwari Nagar, specifically in the Pawar Wadi area of Nashik. It’s a bit of a walk from the main Jail Road but we are right near Ragrageshwari Managl Karyalay, so people find us easily enough. Our shop is packed with all the basic things a house needs. We have big metal tins full of different grains and shelves lined with snacks and cleaning supplies. It’s a quiet neighborhood mostly, so we know most of the people who walk through the door by their first name. We don't have any polished marketing or big signs. The sign we do have is a bit faded from the sun. We spend the morning stocking the fridge with milk and curd. Then the rest of the day is spent weighing out items or helping someone find a specific spice. It gets a bit messy when we are unpacking boxes, but we try to keep the aisles clear. We don't have a lot of help, so if we are busy, customers sometimes have to wait a minute while we finish with someone else. It is just a simple, honest store where you can get your daily bread and eggs. We like being part of the community here in Nashik and just doing our daily work.
