Vickys Sound

Vickys Sound is based out of Hirawadi in Nashik. We are in Flat No 11 at the Bharti Chaya Society. It’s on Hirawadi Road, right across from Paras Farsan. Most people know the farsan shop, so it's not too hard to find us if you're looking. We deal with speakers, mics, and all the wires that go with them. It started out small and we’ve just stayed here in the neighborhood. Sound work is mostly about making sure things don't buzz and people can actually hear what's being said. We spend a lot of time testing cables and hauling heavy boxes into vans. Nashik has a lot of events, so there is always someone needing a bit of noise for a party or a small gathering. We don’t have a big showroom with lights. It’s just our flat where we keep the equipment and test things out. Sometimes the neighbors hear us testing the bass, but we try to keep it down during odd hours. Hirawadi is a good area, pretty quiet mostly. If you walk down Hirawadi Road, you’ll see the society. We’ve been here for a bit now. It’s just a few of us making sure the gear works before it goes out. No one wants the sound to cut out in the middle of something important, so we check things twice. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. We just keep the equipment clean and ready for the next person who calls to book us.
