Swami Print

Our shop is tucked away in the Suyojit Trade Centre, specifically Plot No.G-14 on Sharanpur Road. If you are looking for us, we are right behind the Saraswat Bank and across from Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan. It’s a handy location, though sometimes the parking around Sharanpur gets a bit crowded during the day. We spend most of our time around the printing machines. There is always the smell of ink in the air and the sound of paper moving through the rollers. It’s not a quiet place to work, but we are used to it. We handle a lot of different paper jobs, from small stacks to bigger piles that take all afternoon. Sometimes we run out of a certain type of cardstock and have to wait for the truck to come, which can be annoying. We’ve been in this unit for a while and know most of the other people working in the trade center. It’s a good community here. We don’t do anything flashy, just sit here and get the printing done as it comes in. The desks are usually covered in proofs and offcuts. We try to keep things organized but when it gets busy, that usually goes out the window. It is just the way a print shop operates. We like being in Sharanpur and seeing the familiar faces that come through the door every week for their usual orders. We stay until the last page is done.
