Shabdchitra Art

Shabdchitra Art is over at Shop No. 1 in Ashiyana Park. We’ve been sitting here on Sagar Samrat Road in Dwarka for a good while. It's a small shop but we manage to fit everything we need inside. Mostly we do art and lettering work for people nearby. Dwarka is a big place but our little corner feels pretty local. Some days are slow and we just sit and wait for the next person to walk through the door with a project. Other days we have too much to do and the shop feels even smaller than it is. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just paint or draw or make the signs people ask for. It’s honest work and we’ve been doing it long enough to know what works and what doesn’t. The shop can get a bit cluttered with paint cans and brushes lying around. Sometimes we forget to tidy up because we are focused on finishing a job on time. We aren't part of some big chain or anything like that. It’s just us here in Ashiyana Park trying to make a living and help out the neighbors who need a bit of art work done for their shops or homes. We just take it one day at a time on Sagar Samrat Road and try to keep the brushes moving. It’s worked for us so far and we don't see any reason to change.
