Swagat Hotel

Swagat Hotel is located right on the Nashik Pune Highway in Shinde. We are near the Bangali Baba Stop, which is where most people tell the bus driver to let them off. Since we are on the highway, we see a lot of trucks and cars passing by all day and night. The air is always a bit dusty from the road, but we try to keep the place clean. We have a big space out front where people can park their vehicles. It’s a basic building with a tin roof in some parts. When it rains, it gets really loud inside, but most people don't seem to mind. We serve a lot of tea and simple meals to travelers who are tired of driving. The kitchen is simple with just the necessary stuff to get the job done. We don't have a lot of help, just a couple of local boys who help with the washing and serving. We get our milk from a farm just down the road every morning. The sun can be really harsh out here in Shinde, so we have some shade for people to sit under. It’s not a quiet place because of the highway traffic, but it’s a good spot to take a break. We’ve been here for several years and have seen the road get wider and busier. We just keep doing what we do, serving whoever stops by. It’s a lot of long hours on the road but someone has to do it.
