Surya Ice-Cream

We are over in the Shanpat area. Our place is located quite close to the Abdul Hamid Gym. It is a local neighborhood and everyone seems to know everyone else around here. The shop is just a simple room with our cooling units and some supplies. We don't have a big staff, it’s mostly just us. We spend a lot of our time making sure the machines are working right and that we have enough stock for the day. The gym nearby brings in a lot of people, so we see a good amount of the younger crowd coming by. It’s not a very fancy street, just a regular part of town. We have a few chairs out front for anyone who wants to hang around for a bit. We don't really do any big promotions or anything like that. We just rely on the people who live and work in Shanpat to stop in. The weather really dictates how our day goes. If it’s a hot day, we are constantly busy. If it’s raining, we just sit back and do some cleaning or maintenance. It’s a low-key way to run a business. We like the pace of things here. It isn't too stressful. We know the faces of our regulars and we always say hello. There isn't any big story behind us, we just decided to set up here and we have been doing it ever since. It works for us and we just keep it going.
