Shivamrut Dudh Utpadak Sahakari Sangh Ltd. is a milk cooperative located in Vijaynagar, which is near the Vizori Post in the Malshias area. Our work starts very early, often before the sun is even up. That is when the local farmers start bringing in their milk. You can hear the metal cans clinking and the trucks pulling into the yard from quite a distance. It is a wet and busy environment. We have to be very careful with cleanliness and testing, so there is always someone scrubbing down the floors or checking the equipment. We are a cooperative, so we are owned by the people who provide the milk. Our office in Yeshwantnagar is very basic, with just the essential desks and chairs for keeping our records. We do not have a marketing department or a fancy brand image. We are just a group of people making sure the milk from this region gets processed and sent out correctly. The staff here mostly wears rubber boots and practical clothes because of all the water used in the dairy. We have been a part of this community for a long time, and many families around here rely on the work we do. It is a seven-day-a-week job because the cows do not take holidays, so we are always here. We are proud of our simple, honest work in the dairy business.
