Our shop is Suresh Kumar Bhikulal Mantri Kirana And General Stores. It’s located in the Doodh Bazar area of Nashik, specifically on Falke Road. The pin code is 422001. This is a very old part of the city and it has a lot of character. We’ve been running this kirana store as a family for a long time. We sell all the basic groceries like rice, wheat, oils, and pulses. Doodh Bazar is always packed with people, especially in the mornings. It’s a very traditional market feel here. The shop is quite small and the walls are lined with wooden shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. We have to use a ladder sometimes to reach the things at the top. It’s not a modern supermarket. Everything is sold by weight and we often use paper bags. Falke Road is narrow and busy, so it can be a bit of a struggle to get around, but it’s where we’ve always been. We don't have a website or any fancy advertisements. Our customers are mostly locals who have been buying from us for generations. It’s hard work, and we spend most of our day on our feet, but it’s a good life. We just try to keep the staples in stock so nobody has to go without their basic food items. It’s just a regular old-fashioned kirana shop in the middle of Nashik and we like the routine.
