Sunil Raka

My name is Sunil Raka and you can find my place at 644 Bafana Bhavan. We are located on Mhasoba Lane in the Raviwar Peth area of Nashik. If you know this part of the city, you know it is full of old buildings and lots of history. Bafana Bhavan is an older building, and my space inside is very simple and straightforward. It is not a big corporate office with a fancy reception area. It is basically just a room where I sit and handle my daily work. Mhasoba Lane can be very narrow and it is usually crowded with scooters and carts, but that is just part of living and working in Raviwar Peth. I have been here for a long time and I know almost everyone who has a shop on this lane. We often stand outside and chat for a while when we are not too busy. Inside, the walls could probably use a new coat of paint and the furniture is pretty old, but it does the job just fine. I do not see much point in having a lot of fancy decorations. I just need a quiet place to think and get my tasks finished. Most people who come by are friends or long-time clients. It is a very grounded way of living.
