Star General Store

We are located on Mathura Road, which is over near Nashik Road and the Vihitgoa area. Star General Store is a small business that we’ve been running for some time now. It’s a decent location because of all the people passing through on their way to the station or heading toward Vihitgoa. We carry a bit of everything, from basic groceries to household items that you might suddenly realize you’ve run out of. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a regular storefront with some metal shutters. Inside, we have rows of shelves that are usually packed pretty tight. We spend a lot of our time checking our stock and talking to the guys who bring the supplies in their vans. Sometimes the traffic on Mathura Road gets really backed up, and the noise of the horns can be a bit much, but you get used to it after a while. We have a lot of regular customers who stop by on their way home. We don't do any fancy marketing or have a website; we just rely on people seeing the sign and coming in. It’s a practical way to earn a living, and we enjoy being part of the Nashik Road neighborhood. Some days are slow and we just tidy up the place, and other days we can barely keep up with the people coming through the door. We just take it as it comes and try to keep things running smoothly here.
