Our workshop, Sr Fibreglass Auto Private Limited, is situated at G-77 in the Midc Ambad Industrial Area. It’s a typical industrial unit with a lot of space for our equipment and materials. Working with fibreglass can be messy, so the floor is always covered in some kind of dust or shavings. We’ve got a team of people who have been doing this for a long time. It’s not a quiet place because of the tools and the ventilation fans running. The Ambad area is quite large, but No. G-77 is easy enough to find once you are on the main industrial stretch. We mostly work on auto parts and custom fibreglass pieces for various clients. The office is just a small room partitioned off from the main floor so we can handle the paperwork. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, especially with the machinery running. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. People usually come to us because they need something specific made or repaired. We spend our days measuring, cutting, and molding. It’s physical work and your hands get pretty dirty by the end of the shift. We try to keep a steady pace and make sure the orders go out when they are supposed to. It’s just a group of us here at the Midc site doing our thing. There is always a lot to do before we head home for the night.
