Sona Ice Candy & Ice Cream

So, we’re based over at Sona Ice Candy & Ice Cream, right on Old Agra Road in Malegaon. Our spot is in Sona Compound at 25/A-2. If you’ve ever been through this part of town, you know the traffic can get pretty bad on the main road, but once you pull into the compound, it’s a bit quieter. We spend most of our days here just making sure the freezers are running right and getting everything ready. It’s hot in Malegaon, so keeping things cold is basically the whole job. The building itself is nothing to look at, just a regular place where we get the work done. I usually get in early before the sun really starts hitting the pavement. It’s a lot of manual work, moving crates and checking on the mix, and sometimes the machines act up which is a headache. We don’t have a big fancy office or anything like that. There’s a small desk where we keep the books, but mostly we are on our feet in the back. It’s a bit messy sometimes with the water on the floor from cleaning, but that’s just how it is with ice cream. People from the neighborhood stop by, and we know most of the drivers who come through. We’ve been at this location for a while now and don't plan on moving anytime soon. It’s just a normal local business doing its thing on the side of a busy road.
