Shree Shiv Samarth Provision & General Store

I open up the shop every morning right as the sun starts to hit the Meri Adgaon Link Road. It’s usually quiet then, except for a few people heading toward the Per Baba Darga nearby. Our place, Shree Shiv Samarth Provision & General Store, is just a small spot here in Sai Nagar, but we’ve been around long enough that most neighbors know where to find us. The shelves are mostly filled with the usual things people need daily, like bags of rice, lentils, and those small packets of biscuits the kids ask for. I spend a lot of time just moving boxes around and making sure nothing is sitting there for too long. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so there is a lot of cleaning to do throughout the day. People drop by for a quick chat while they pick up their oil or soap. It isn't a fancy place with bright lights or anything like that. We just have what is necessary. My desk is a bit cluttered with old ledgers and pens that barely work, but I know where everything is. The fan overhead makes a bit of a clicking sound when it’s on high, but it helps during the hot Nashik afternoons. We don't really do much besides keep things stocked and help out whoever walks through the door. It’s just how things go here day after day, keeping track of the inventory and making sure the jars are full.
