Samrudhi Family Shoppy

Samrudhi Family Shoppy is a little place in Village Paratvada, right at Shop No. L-16. Since we are in a village, things move a bit slower than they do in the big cities, and we like it that way. The shop is a place where local families come to get their everyday items. We have a bit of everything on the shelves, from snacks to household cleaning supplies. The post office is nearby, so we get people stopping in after they finish their business there. The building is simple, just a concrete structure that keeps the sun out during the hottest part of the afternoon. We don't have any big neon signs or loud advertisements. Most people know we are here because they walk past us every day on their way to work or school. The floor is usually a bit dusty because people walk in straight from the dirt roads outside, but we sweep it out every evening. We know most of the kids who come in to spend their pocket change on sweets. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except when the local festival is happening and the whole street gets crowded with people. We don't use a computer for our sales; it’s all done by hand in a notebook. It’s an honest way to make a living and it keeps us connected to everyone in the village. We just try to keep the shelves full and the door open for everyone.
