Shree Sai Kirana & General Stores

I run Shree Sai Kirana & General Stores at Shop No 9 in the Pushkraj Housing Society. We are located on Jai Bhawani Road in Nashik Road, right across from the Sarathi Milk Dairy. Since we are right opposite the dairy, we see a lot of people early in the morning when they come to get their milk. We usually open up around the same time so they can pick up their other groceries like bread or poha at the same time. The shop is a decent size for a housing society store. We keep a good mix of items, from soaps and detergents to various pulses and rice. It is mostly a one-man show, though my son helps out in the evenings when he is free. The shelves are packed, and sometimes I have to use a small stool to reach the top rows. It’s a bit of a climb, but it keeps me active. We know almost everyone living in Pushkraj and the nearby buildings. It’s a nice community to be a part of. We don't do home delivery or anything complicated; people just walk in and tell us what they need. Sometimes we have a little chat about the weather or the local news while I'm weighing their items. It’s a steady, simple life here at the shop. We just try to stay stocked up and keep the place running smoothly every day.
