Shree Datta Kirana Centre

Shree Datta Kirana Centre is located on Chowk Mandi Road, near Sarda Circle in Nashik. We are right by the Hanuman Mandir, so we hear the temple bells every morning and evening. It is a nice way to start the work day. The pincode here is 422006. My shop is full of the usual kirana items like grains, oils, and spices. I spend most of my time weighing out portions for the local families who live around Chowk Mandi. Nashik can get quite busy, especially near Sarda Circle, so there is always a lot of traffic and noise outside. I’ve got some old wooden stools for people to sit on if they have to wait for their items to be packed. The shop isn't very big, so we have to use every inch of space for storage. I keep the heavy sacks on the floor and the smaller jars on the higher shelves. I’ve known most of my customers for years and know what they usually want. We talk about the prices of vegetables or the rain while I pack their bags. It’s a very ordinary place. I open up early and close late most nights. Sometimes the temple crowd stops in for a cold drink or some small items like matches or candles. I do all the cleaning myself every night before I head home to rest. It is just a regular local shop where we try to have what people need for their kitchens and homes.
