Shree Atharv Kirana

Shree Atharv Kirana is located on Ganpati Road, right near the Mumbai Naka in Nashik. We are very close to the Ganpati Mandir, so on festival days, the whole area gets incredibly crowded and loud. Our shop is just a small space, number three in the row, where we keep all the basic household stuff. I stock things like incense sticks, oil for lamps, and the usual kitchen groceries like salt and sugar. The traffic at Mumbai Naka is always buzzing, so there is a constant sound of horns and engines in the background. I’ve been running this shop for quite some time now, and I’ve seen the kids in the neighborhood grow up into adults. Some of them still come by to buy a candy or a pen. The shelves are quite high, so I have to use a small wooden ladder to reach the top rows. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when we get a big delivery of flour sacks. I usually keep a small radio playing some old songs to pass the time when it’s quiet. We don't have any fancy displays, just the items stacked up where people can see them. It’s honest work and it keeps me busy from dawn till dusk. Most of our customers are locals who live in the narrow lanes around the temple.
